Lila has become more and more mobile, and in my effort to move as little as possible until my kidney stones pass, She has been in her crib all day. It's not all bad. She's got her toys, sippy cup, the whole nine. After a while of not hearing any noise at all, I went in her room to find this:
I look in her crib and find the above, and of course panic thinking She's 'escaped' or fallen to her death or something. I called her name and out she came!

In the time that it took me to upload those pictures to my computer I hear Lila bear laughing to herself. I go in, camera ready to catch a smile and I catch her red handed tearing down the establishment.
It was a very "Give me Liberty or Give me Death" moment.

After double knotting and fixing the bumper pad, I put a t-shirt on her and read her a sweet story and put her to nap. I turned the monitor on and a few minutes later I went in to check on her and found her in a completely different place, hugging her toys, and naked. Why do I even put clothes on this child?
Sweet dreams Lila. I can only hope that you don't grow up to be an extremist or hippie or something.

i slept about 2 hours last night. i worked 13 hours yesterday. i came back to work about 7 hours after i left. the thought of seeing you tomorrow is the only thing that's keeping me from screaming and throwing myself down the stairs from this tenth floor office.
